Job Requirements
What’s Needed:
Completion of a post secondary degree or diploma in relevant field or acceptable combination of skills and experience;
3-5 years of operational experience of A/V systems during a broad range of live events such as national sporting events, press conferences, concerts, corporate A/V and other live entertainment;
Advanced understanding and troubleshooting of complex A/V equipment and systems;
Experience integrating A/V systems with broadcast media systems and streaming devices;
Experience with QSC Q-SYS audio DSP system;
Strong customer service abilities, work ethic and positive attitude;
Experience with patching, cleaning and troubleshooting fiber optic equipment;
Operational knowledge of digital audio mixing consoles and broadcast video switchers;
Understanding of broadcast streaming encoders and decoders;
Working knowledge of RS-232 and RS-485 serial data communication equipment;
Able to work in a high pressure, tight deadline, physically demanding work environment;
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
