About the position 
 We’re looking for a video producer with a keen eye for design, and excellent implementation skills to join our team. You’ll be collaborating with a cross-functional team of designers, content strategists, videographers, developers, and product managers to deliver the Bank’s digital publications and products.

 We’re a small agile team of developers, designers, videographers and content specialists. We’re a collaborative group committed to making the Bank’s digital communications leading-edge.  
 
 Your future responsibilities 

Under the direction of the Video Production Lead, you will:  

  • create engaging video products for various audiences 
  • learn and adhere to brand guidelines 
  • seek out opportunities to deliver and/or supplement Bank content through video 
  • provide input into video strategy and deliver projects based on that strategy 
  • manage video files and final products, as well as equipment inventory 
  • coach other staff on video production 
  • Work independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines  
  • Give and receive constructive feedback 
Job Requirements
Your knowledge and skills

Experience managing video production projects in a corporate environment
Extensive experience as a camera operator, video editor and motion graphics animator
A portfolio of your work that illustrates your skills and process is required with application
Proficient with the Adobe creative cloud suite of products (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff across the organization, and create a fun, relaxed and professional atmosphere
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to think creatively to craft a visual stories and bring ideas and complex concepts to life


Assets

Knowledge of graphic design, animation and presentation development
Experience with cataloging media assets that can be efficiently and quickly accessed
Ability to communicate fluently in both official languages

Your education and experience

Minimum of three years’ experience in a video production environment


What you need to know

Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.
Priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
Security level required: Be eligible to obtain Reliability
There will be no relocation assistance provided

Hybrid Work Model

Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $77,853 to $91,592 (job grade 15)
The Bank offers an incentive for successfully meeting expectations at 5 to 7% of your base salary. The Bank offers additional performance pay (3%) for those who exceed expectations. Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
