What will you work on?
We are looking for Shopper Marketing Manager to fill a contract for the Canadian Sales & Marketing organization. This role is responsible for partnering with the Brand & Sales team in achieving financial growth & profit targets for Canada. The Shopper Marketing Manager leads planning, execution, and analysis of strategic shopper marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be providing innovative and best-in-class in-store shopper Point of Sale (POS) strategies & solutions to increase Brand Awareness & drive consumption. In this role, you will interact with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders to develop compelling shopper programs and executional excellence to support business & stand out from the competition.
How will you create impact?
Developing and executing shopper marketing strategies & programs:
- Developing and implementing shopper marketing programs that align with overall brand and business objectives.
- Implementing feature display programs, point-of-sale materials, and other in-store or online initiatives to influence purchase decisions.
- Ability to manage a high-volume number of programs that are on time and on budget.
Operational Support:
- Lead key operational vendor relationships with an eye to ensuring continual improvement in execution and process efficiencies; manage annual Shopper budget, prioritizing and optimizing spending across categories, brands, and customers to maximize investment impact; oversee related day-to-day financial administration.
Analyzing sales and shopper data:
- The manager analyzes account and area sales performance, shopper insights, and market research data to identify opportunities and optimize campaigns.
Collaborating with internal teams:
- The manager works closely with sales, marketing, category management, Asia and other teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of shopper marketing programs.
- Close collaboration with our Asia team is key for flawless execution & on time briefing & delivery.
Project management:
- The ability to manage all aspects of the in-Store feature programs from brief to instore placement and everything in between - ensuring the process for the shopper programs is followed
Staying up to date on industry trend & competitive analysis
- The manager needs to be aware of the latest trends and best practices in shopper marketing and provide the team with an overview of what the competition is doing each season.
