Here’s the job opportunity…

This is a 14-month contract opportunity.

As the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will ensure employees and stakeholders are well-informed about key business developments. You will also develop and review executive communications to maintain consistency with the executive brand. This position is responsible for facilitating communication regarding the organization's strategy and business priorities. Promoting a strong understanding of business objectives encouraging employee contributions that support the overall success of the organization.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals and values
  • Develop and deliver strategic communications
  • Support company culture and employee engagement through committees, platform integration, and engagement programs
  • Provide content and facilitate employee meetings and events such as town halls, and appreciation activities
  • Establish the corporate communications and employee experience strategy in Canada in collaboration with Sagicor
  • Provide communications coaching for internal teams and senior leadership
  • Develop and advise on corporate communications plans supporting overall business goals
Job Requirements
What we are looking for…


University degree in Communications or Public Relations is required
7-10 years’ experience in strategic communications planning and delivery at the organization-wide level
2-3 years strategic communications support at the executive level
Excellent skills in writing clear and concise communications for different audiences
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail
Strong problem solving, customer service, and organizational skills
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and adaptable to changing priorities
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with Microsoft SharePoint is an asset
