Position Overview

As a Graphic & Communications Design Co-op, you will join our Marketing & Communications (M&C) Team in shaping how our brand is communicated to internal and external audiences by creating illustrations, visual assets, communication materials, and other design deliverables for marketing, events, websites, presentations, proposals, and other related needs. You will also bring creative ideas to help elevate our brand and communications, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with organizational goals.

This role is ideal for someone who is a good visual communicator, creative–technical minded and brings a growth mindset.


Key Responsibilities

•Create graphic illustrations and visual assets that simplify technical concepts into clear, user-friendly visuals

•Design marketing and business development materials (e.g., product sheets, slide decks, templates, event graphics)

•Assist with basic UX/UI design elements for websites, software, or app interface

•Develop graphics for marketing and social media in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team

•Apply and follow established brand guidelines and SEO best practices to ensure consistent visual style across all materials

•Ensure consistency in design across collaterals, documents, emails, digital assets, and other materials

•Perform other duties as assigned

 
Job Requirements
Qualifications

•Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, marketing or a related field

•Experience in creating illustrations for marketing, communications, or corporate projects

•Proficiency in industry‑standard tools Procreate, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro / Rush), Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Figma, Other equivalent tools

•Understanding and experience in graphic design fundamentals (Composition, typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy)

•Comfortable working from briefs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and incorporating feedback

•Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain visual consistency and brand alignment

•Awareness of current design trends and best practices

Compensation

The compensation for this role is based on an average of 37.5 hours a week at the estimated range of $20 – $22 hourly, depending on skills and experience.
