Job Description

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week

Salary: $72.12 CAD per hour

Location of Work: 639 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON, M5V 2B7, Canada

Vacation: 15 paid vacation days and vacation pay equal to 6% of gross wages

Position & Job Duties

We are seeking a full-time Chief Executive Officer / Creative Director to provide strategic leadership and serve as the creative visionary for our fast-growing fashion brand. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish company objectives and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Set the strategic vision and lead the design of fashion collections, overseeing their production to ensure alignment with the brand's identity and market trends.
  • Establish, organize, and coordinate major departments and senior staff.
  • Allocate resources to implement policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls.
  • Formulate and approve promotional campaigns; oversee personnel planning.
  • Select and manage middle managers, directors, and executive staff.
  • Represent the company in negotiations and official functions.
  • Manage the company's budget and oversee financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement brand strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Innovate new product lines and pursue market expansion opportunities.

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications:
    Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business, commerce, arts, or fashion design.
    Work Experience Requirement: Three years of experience in an executive management role, preferably in the fashion industry.
    Strong understanding of fashion retail/e-commerce operations.
    Demonstrated knowledge of African fashion trends.
    Track record of driving company growth and profitability.
    Strong leadership and management skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Innovative thinking and strategic planning ability.
