Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Computer Science or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Knowledge
Understand of the technology being released (software, hardware, platforms)
Advance level expertise in MS Office (in particular PowerPoint)
Familiarity with technical terminology and the ability to translate it into simple, customer-friendly language.
Awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape.
Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting clear, compelling messaging.
Ability to tailor communication for different audiences (e.g., technical teams, end-users, executives, or external stakeholders)
Uses a straight-talk and story-telling approach for communications.
Experience in creating FAQ and marketing material.
Project Management
Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional teams.
Ability to coordinate between technical and marketing team to ensure alignment.
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Creative Thinking
Ability to develop innovative ideas for promoting the technology releases.
Experience in creating engaging content, such as video, infographics or case studies.
Skill in storytelling to highlight the value and impact of the technology.
Salary:
$74,800.00 - $138,600.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
