LAT is seeking an Account Coordinator to create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients seeking to reach Chinese demographics in the Lower Mainland. The Account Coordinator’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned brands, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities.

Our Account Coordinator will help LAT’s clients reach diverse audiences locally, and abroad. We are looking for an individual who is skilled in online & offline marketing to connect, engage and promote brand awareness on behalf of our clients. This role requires a deep knowledge of social media technology and trends. The ideal candidate is data-driven, can contribute to the planning of campaigns, and is a strong team player who can easily adapt to a dynamic and fast-moving multicultural marketing landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing and prospective clients
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate to identify growth opportunities
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
 
Job Requirements
Requirements

Excellent English & Chinese written and verbal communication skills
Experience with mainstream and Chinese social & media platforms
Deep understanding of marketing and social media trends
Proven work experience as an Account Coord. or relevant role
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
Experience with CRM software and MS Office
Solid understanding of SEO principles
Experience delivering client-focused solutions
Data driven
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Great team player
Experience with RED, WeChat, Weibo, FB, Inst., Google, KOL marketing an asset
