Web & Graphic Associate Designer (Hybrid) 

*Temporarily remote due to COVID-19 regulations*
As the Web & Graphic Associate Designer, you will be supporting the creative design of graphic communication materials across platforms. You’ll create a combination of graphics, text, audio, animation, video, and photography from concept to completion. You will be primarily responsible for graphic design, photo and video production for Canon Canada’s internal and external platforms.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Create and publish designs and layouts for articles, campaigns, landing pages and advertising
  • Build simple webpages via the content management system (CMS)
  • Photography and videography support for events
  • Assist with the creation and development of graphic content, including photos and videos, for various channels
  • Track projects and workback schedules internally and with external vendors
  • Source graphic content (photo/video) from various stock websites and sources
  • Assist with continually refreshing, tracking, and optimizing website images

 
Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For

College Diploma in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing or related field
12 months of work experience
1-2 years of experience in graphic design or web content may substitute for the educational requirement
Excellent computer and technical skills, including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere)
Experience using content management systems (CMS) WordPress and front-end HTML
Strong project management skills are required to work with business units on small scope projects, follow timelines, and ensure deliverables fit with timelines of others
Basic experience with file and digital asset management
French is considered an asset

REMOTE WORK
This position offers a Hybrid work schedule. You will be required to be in the office Mondays and Wednesdays each week, with the ability to work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance)
