Under the general direction of the Executive Producer for CBC Victoria, you will operate as part of the daily news and current affairs team on Vancouver Island to research, gather, package and present media for CBC’s platforms including digital video and radio. You will use community connections to pitch and produce original stories and tell news stories using creative visual elements.

The work must adhere to CBC journalistic and/or program policies, standards and practices but there is latitude for initiative, independent judgment and creativity. You must adhere to CBC’s Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest at all times.
