ROLE SUMMARY (5 Month Contract)


The Marketing Specialist role is designed to support all marketing activities for the VAS Financial Services and Collateral Management Solutions divisions at Teranet.  The Marketing Specialist will be the day-to-day contact for Product partners and will work with the Marketing Manager to execute the annual marketing plan.  He/She will develop targeted content and communications, assist with events and campaigns, and manage other activities that help drive success for customers and our business. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and can work equally well independently or within a team environment.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES /OUTCOMES:

  • Work with product and sales teams to develop customer insight strategy to find new areas for product development.
  • Collaborate with Senior Product Manager to understand the business objectives, product features, and benefits that drive content strategy and the creation of collateral pieces, presentations, customer communications, and social media campaigns.
  • Submit all invoices from vendors for payment and update the budget on a weekly basis. 
  • Create concise, engaging, and compelling content across a range of media, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, thought leadership articles, and product/sales information.
  • Design and lead the creative development and implementation of direct marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product partners to build successful integrated marketing campaigns to generate desired business results and impact.
  • Build and develop strong, collaborative relationships with agencies and key Marketing, Product, and Sales partners to deliver best in class direct marketing programs.
  • Plan and implement all marketing campaigns, communications, and events related to the project.
  • Manage multiple projects and maintain a balance between the tactical focus on implementation and the strategic focus for new marketing opportunities delivering them in a timely manner.

 
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
3-5 years of Marketing experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, content management systems (CMS), and CRM software such as Salesforce
Superior project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and agendas
Attention to detail and analytical skills along with the ability to present valuable insights.
Strong execution and delivery skills with a customer-centric attitude
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience planning and leading initiatives
Working knowledge of marketing research and surveys
Team player with high energy and demonstrated initiative

INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION

This role requires a high level of autonomy with some interaction with management. The Marketing Specialist will be involved in developing strategies with the Marketing Manager/Leadership team but will be largely in charge of the execution which will require a high level of independence and decision-making capabilities.
