What Will You Work On?

Reporting to the Manager of, the Marketing Specialist will spend the majority of time managing marketing projects designed to drive growth for and create positive experience to AIR MILES Collectors. This role will also own the daily operational accountabilities and lead relationships with other Marketing teams.

How Will You Create Impact?

  • Lead, manage and execute marketing campaigns for (including email, web, digital, brand, contests, and promotions) that are in alignment with annual marketing plans and AMS brand, support retention of existing customers, new shopper acquisition and lifecycle marketing approach, and support retailer partner objectives.
  • Alongside the Manager and AMS team, responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on various aspects of managing the AMS business, including: retailer partners, Legal, IT/Operations, Marketing, Customer Care, Website Publishing, and Analytics, as well as Agency partners to ensure successful campaign execution, tracking and reporting.
  • Work closely with Analytics to proactively measure campaign performance and set up tests/measurement plans for marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the annual planning process for as it relates to lifecycle marketing and promotional calendar.
  • Opportunities to get hands on experience on account management with key online partners
Job Requirements
Let’s Talk About You:

Post-secondary Certificate/Degree. Preferred: Marketing Communication 1-2 years' experience in marketing execution and strategy, preferably in Digital Marketing - experience in affiliate marketing or eCommerce would be an asset, but is not required.
Strong project management skills and attention to details.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate objectives and business challenges in order to lead cross functional teams in the development of strong, successful and innovative campaigns that meet business objectives and financial targets.
Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data and insights to inform strategies and campaign optimizations.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and trends - web, email, mobile and social media
