POSITION:       Marketing Coordinator – Summer Student Contract   

LOCATION:       Work-From-Home / 2151 Thurston Drive, Ottawa, Ontario

TERM:    Full-Time Contract ending August 27, 2021 (Possibility of extension and/or permanent position)

Summary Description:

The Marketing Digital Coordinator is responsible for supporting the CAA Insurance website, email, social media, and digital advertising projects for CAA North & East Ontario.  This is a role ideally suited for a new graduate or someone looking to dive into a variety of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.  The Marketing Digital Coordinator will be hands-on in the tactical aspects of marketing programs, with an emphasis on digital marketing and website optimization. They will assist the Insurance Marketing Manager to plan, execute and optimize a variety of online campaigns and content. The Marketing Digital Coordinator will also have input to the development/creation of marketing materials, social campaigns, and web content. 


  • Support the CAA Insurance Marketing team
  • Coordinate website, email, social media, and digital advertising projects
  • Organize and prepare website content and digital assets for online campaigns
  • Support social media and social influencer campaigns
  • Produce search engine optimize content
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the website, online campaigns, and content
  • Build and execute email campaigns
  • Assist the Marketing Specialists to schedule, coordinate, and track digital advertising campaigns
  • Track marketing programs by updating reports and summarizing findings.
  • Participate in other marketing programs and projects as required.

Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma in Advertising, Marketing, Technology or Media
Solution-driven in both individual and team settings.
Knowledge of social media and digital advertising platforms (Google, Social Media, Bing, etc.)
Comfortable using website CMS to create landing pages and update content
Strong English verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and proofing.
Ability to learn new technologies, tasks & procedures quickly with little or no supervision.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines for numerous clients.
Experience with Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Email Marketing, Web Content Management would be considered an asset.
Google Certification is an asset
Residing in the Ottawa-area is an asset
