Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Communications Intern, reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications is responsible for assisting the team with social media, development and implementation of digital assets and brand strategy. This will include skills related to creative writing, graphic design and social media content.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in coordinating various marketing assets including e-blasts, promotions items, social media and web;
  • Manages the company’s social media account, create and posts content;
  • Work with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter;
  • Management of analytics tools;
  • Analyzing data related to the website, social media, etc.;
  • Assists with ongoing projects within the team.
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Required level of education and job-related experience:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing and Communications or a related field;
Prior experience in marketing or social media an asset.

Specific Skills:
Highly creative with a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator. Strong proficiency social media platforms;
Strong communications and interpersonal skills;
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills;
Demonstrates good judgment and excellent service delivery skills;
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment;
Detail oriented with a demonstrated commitment to quality.
