Job Summary

This role bridges internal and external stakeholders to develop and drive channel marketing plans. The role contributes to the development of effective marketing and communications strategies to increase the visibility and impact of McKesson Specialty Health’s provider strategy. From initial campaign concepts and strategies, all the way through marketing materials and social media posts.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Generate campaign ideas and strategies – in tandem with our senior team, you will assist in executing marketing and communications strategies that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Marketing and communication materials – assist in generating a range of materials, both print and digital, that generate interest and engagement in provider solutions.
  • Research and evaluation – search web and print materials for news and stories relevant to our business. Use Google analytics, Survey Monkey, and similar tools to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Act as marketing and branding advocate and contribute to a positive patient journey.  
  • Challenge the status quo to enable the timely delivery of innovative and efficient marketing strategies and accelerate desired marketing and business outcome
  • Proactively work with team to identify priority, assess risks, and create strategic and actionable marketing plan 
  • Promote cross-functional teamwork, builds trust, ownership and accountability
  • Engage qualitative and quantitative research to understand competitors, customer perception, behavior and insights
  • Ability to leveraging multi-channel approaches to reaching the target audience
  • Grow value proposition market awareness & generate new conversations with potential provider partners
  • Liaison with internal marketing and communication colleagues

Job Requirements
Key Requirements
Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism or comparable field.
Experience in a similar marketing communications role, preferably in an organization that has a board of directors and serves a large membership base
Experience coordinating a range of internal/external content and media, including newsletters, magazines, and internal communications
Experience managing social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Suite
Familiarity with Google analytics would be an asset
Experience with CRM software and databases would be a strong asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset
