Job Description:

Are you passionate about brand and marketing? Are you a seasoned marketing professional who has championed the development of paid marketing strategies? If so, this may be the role for you! Launched in October 2018, Lumino Health is an innovation from Sun Life that puts health information all in one place, empowering Canadians to make smarter health choices and live healthier lives. The overall mandate of the department is to act with agility and speed to invest in new partnerships and capabilities that provide innovative solutions for Canadians in the digital health space.

What will you do?

  • Leading the national brand campaign team to deliver ongoing impactful outcomes to increase brand familiarity for Lumino Health

  • Program management of a robust, multi-million dollar national brand advertising campaign with full-funnel focus (TV, Radio, Digital, Social, Out of Home, Content Marketing, etc.).

  • Leveraging analytics to assess ongoing brand campaign performance and identify high-impact opportunities for Client interactions and engagement        

  • Manage external agencies and media partners in development and management of brand, programmatic and sem campaign

  • Ensure budgets are being met and reconciled on an ongoing basis; documentation of budget changes throughout campaign duration

  • Collaborate with creative teams to deliver creative and messaging that aligns to campaign objectives

  • Develop productive working relationships with key Canadian business unit stakeholders to understand business goals in order to achieve overall business objectives through national brand campaign

  • Monitor, evaluate, analyze and report on SEO & SEM results, take a data driven approach towards optimization (revise bidding strategies where required)

  • Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives optimizing existing content and uncovering new opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing SEM campaigns (ad copy updates, keyword opportunities, sitelinks, new data integrations, etc.)

  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing Programmatic campaigns (ad copy updates, keyword opportunities, sitelinks, new data integrations, etc.)

  • Consideration of any tends and seasonality observed from campaign history

  • Application of tracking tags to SEM campaigns as required

  • Launch new programmatic and SEM campaigns as required.

 

 
Job Requirements
What do you need to succeed?

Undergraduate degree is required, specialization in business and/or marketing strongly preferred

6-7 years of experience in delivering on paid media strategies

Strategic mindset and the ability to lead the development and cross-functional execution of effective SEM programs based on business opportunities

In depth experience with analytics & tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Conductor, Search Console, etc.)

Strong understanding of measurement and attribution models as it related to campaign performance

Expert knowledge of digital media and brand marketing and how to develop and apply impactful strategies that are well integrated with a broader marketing plan.

A real passion and curiosity for brand funnel marketing at a personal level and also as a marketer, with the ability to stay on top of quickly evolving trends and opportunities

Demonstrated experience in developing marketing strategies in a highly matrixed environment

Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

Superior communication, organizational, and project management skills

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills with a strong ability to manage, influence and leverage a multitude of stakeholders

Highly organized, self-motivated, adept at managing change and priorities with an ability to work under tight deadlines

Resourceful self-starter, with a strong work ethic, who can analyze complex problems quickly and methodical

Flexibility to quickly adjust to unforeseen changes in priorities and workload

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
