Job Description

We are looking for an individual to join our Marketing team in a full-time capacity as a Jr. Video Editor. The qualified candidate is responsible for executing online video projects and content marketing initiatives for the Group’s various brands in line with business objectives and priorities. This position reports to the Manager, Video Production and is based in Toronto, ON.


Assemble individual elements; raw camera footage, dialogue, music, and graphics; into a Sunwing-quality video suitable for streaming to web properties, broadcast, and in- flight 

Edit select clips from hours of raw HD footage 

Colour correcting and audio mixing 

Creating motion graphics and animation 

Editing hi-res images in Photoshop 

Establishing video formats through compression 

Uploading finished products on appropriate sources (Brightcove and/or YouTube) 

Editing of TV ads and/or in-flight videos 

Responsible for ensuring brand standards are adhered to while ensuring style and tone is 
reflective of brand positioning and standards

Job Requirements

Have 2+ years of full-time (daily) editing experience
General knowledge of audio requirements
Expert knowledge of current digital media production, equipment and processes
Ability to work independently while taking direction from the Manager Video Content and internal stakeholders, as well as excel in a team environment
Ability to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines while maintaining acute attention to detail
Have strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills
A degree or diploma in a related field is preferred
Proficiency with a Mac-based platform, Adobe Premiere Production Suite (After Effects, Photoshop)
Skilled in layout and graphic design as it relates to graphic packages (graphic openings/name slates etc.)
Ability to navigate seamlessly across the Adobe platform
Knowledge of compression, codecs, aspect ratios and bitrates along with any other file extensions/types required for TV broadcast
