What is the role?

The Integrated Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing projects and marketing initiatives that deliver into business objectives across Omni channels. This includes supporting both national and local campaigns and driving long-term goals.

The Integrated Marketing Coordinator will assist the Marketing team in implementing various marketing strategies and plans based on sound business strategies that invites strong partnership and co-creations between key channels and creative. This role will report to and work closely with the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager, to ensure 360 executions of all marketing campaigns. This is a hybrid position with possibility of being remote.

What will you do?

  • Closely follows and supports the development of the 360 integrated marketing calendars, supporting a mix of the following integrated channels:
    • Promotional materials (digital flyer, in-store sale signage)
    • In-store signage and tools
    • Special customer facing projects (Pet Parent Guide, annual calendar)
    • Local initiatives that deliver into business objectives, including new store openings, events and advertising programs.
    • Agency and strategic partnership support
    • Internal and external requests and support
  • Execute sharp positioning and channel mix per initiatives, write creative briefs leveraging 360 campaign plans
  • Work with key cross-functional partners (operations, merchandizing, ecommerce, supply chain, performance marketing and proprietary brands) to ensure product-level promotions and campaigns are accurate and representative to deliver best in class omnichannel experiences
  • Create and project manage key promotional calendars and deliverability dates
  • Keep stakeholders and leadership informed and engaged to marketing activations
  • Accountable to set and drive key KPI’s as well as measure, report and socialize results and learnings
  • Responsible for management of key projects’ budget
  • Work alongside the creative teams to affect meaningful campaigns integrated across channels including traditional media, event activations, in-store experience marketing, and local partnerships and social activations.
  • Responds and acts in a timely fashion on integrated marketing challenges received from cross functional teams and franchisees
  • Works closely with cross functional teams including marketing, stores, merchandising, customer service, IT, operations, finance and warehouse
Job Requirements
What will you need to succeed?

Education and Experience

This is an entry-level position
Post-secondary education in Marketing, or 1-2 years of marketing, or advertising experience
Strong attention to detail required
Extreme organization and scheduling savvy is required for this role
Drive for results, but empathetic and flexible – a true team player
Asana/project management software experience is an asset
Flyer or print/digital publication production experience an asset
Experience in retail organization is an asset
Knowledge of pet industry an asset
