As the Events Marketing Manager you will design and implement a strategy for Gradle marketing events, think in-person events, virtual events, sponsorships and gathering important speakers. The outcome of your events is directly tied to both of our goals to fill the funnel with relevant leads and build pipeline for the Sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the in-person and virtual event strategy; collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive engagements that lead to pipeline growth 
  • Focus efforts on driving the Gradle enterprise business, but have experience and understanding of how our open source activities and the IT practitioners support our company.
  • Manage event projects, budgets, and timelines
  • Track and analyze key marketing metrics and event performance
  • Partner with various marketing functions divisions to develop an innovative, effective, and effective events campaign, from approach to execution
  • Travel for on-site and live events globally as restrictions open up
  • Own the Events Calendar - establish the events and calendar globally of all priority activities across digital and live engagements, including sponsored (industry conferences, trade shows) and owned events (webinars, our own digital conference)

 
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of relevant marketing experience managing events
Experience crafting, implementing, and leading events and field marketing initiatives in support of B2B demand generation and pipeline creation
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Ability to lead multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Clearbit, DemandBase, Drift, Wistia is a plus
