About the role:

The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for driving growth and engagement with our user base through email. You'll take ownership of triggered and newsletter communications and be responsible for the planning and optimization of our email communications to ensure we maintain a healthy database and deliver valuable content to our users that deepen their engagement with the platform.

As Email Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Own our email strategy and establish best practices for the channel.
  • Establish and drive our email content calendar working collaboratively with marketing and other stakeholders to ensure needs are met and email subscribers are served valuable and engaging content.
  • Develop out and optimize all triggered email campaigns closely managing performance to ensure we are delivering valuable and relevant content at the right time.
  • Strategize and execute on going email optimization testing to continuously improve health, engagement, and conversion metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities to increase acquisition and retention of email subscribers across all channels - paid, social, onsite CRO, etc.
  • Develop strategies to drive healthy list, user acquisition, and revenue growth generated from email.
  • Be the expert user of our email platform leveraging new releases and features to the fullest.
Job Requirements
We believe it's important for you to have:
3+ years of experience in email marketing including triggered automated programs and audience segmentation.
Demonstrated ability to derive insights from performance metrics.
The ability to create and drive email strategy coupled with tactical execution.
A strong knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem and an understanding for how channels can work together to compliment one another and accomplish goals.
