The position:
The Director of Digital Media is a newly created position and we are seeking a strategic top performer who is looking to take advantage of the latest technologies and opportunities that will maximize digital distribution at APTN.

Implement and enforce Digital Media policies, procedures and standards

Job Requirements
You will:
Strategically manage the development, implementation and evolution of APTN’s digital media strategies including APTN’s OTT services, activities and content
Analyze user needs, industry trends and business opportunities
Determine how APTN can take advantage of the latest technologies and opportunities that will maximize digital distribution
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all APTN departments

You bring:
Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline; bac +3 to bac +5 (human sciences, political science, communication, audio-visual)
Proven leadership, strategic planning and negotiating skills
Knowledge and skills in website development, architecture and new technologies
Strong understanding of usability practices, information design and User-Centered Design principles
Excellent knowledge of various television content and webcasting platforms (VOD, SVOD, xVOD);
