Position Objective:
Sustain and grow PETA’s large digital reach and presence across our website, social presence, and more. Be a visionary for PETA’s digital efforts, and help drive PETA’s messages, making sure they resonate with the public. Through innovative social media marketing, our Director of Digital Marketing will ensure our campaigns make a splash with influencers and the media, push forward PETA's edgy animal rights message, and are timely with current events and trends.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Develop and revise strategies for new and existing marketing efforts and organizational priorities (including PETA's social strategy, online video strategy, and mobile texting efforts) and work with other marketing department managers on implementation
• Develop and execute an optimization strategy for PETA’s websites and social messaging
• Develop and execute a growth strategy for PETA Latino’s digital presence
• Work with other PETA departments to collaborate on creative digital marketing initiatives
• Oversee the development and release of creative marketing projects with third-party agencies
• Oversee the tracking and analysis of PETA’s online marketing goals
• Stay abreast of marketing trends to ensure PETA stays on the cutting edge of digital marketing strategies
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Vice President of Marketing
