As a Digital Performance Marketing Specialist you’ll flex your analytical skills by planning, executing, and optimizing paid marketing campaigns for the largest electronics retail site in Canada. Using data from sources like Google, Adobe, BI Tools, and Facebook Business Manager, you’ll iteratively optimize the use of our paid marketing channels to guide customers directly to product pages on Your work will help drive top-line sales and increase profitability across our digital channels, including email, paid search, affiliate, and paid social.

What you’ll be doing:

Owning the digital marketing efforts from top to bottom for an entire category on
Allocating the paid digital marketing budget mix for your category by channel
Identifying optimal category presence within mass and personalized email
Executing paid marketing campaigns to drive immediate traffic and revenue results
Executing long-term awareness campaigns within paid marketing channels
Tracking the performance of assets (text ads, PLAs, social ads, display ads, newsletter touchpoints, and so on) and working with the team to improve them over time
Maximizing ROI spending and profitability within and across paid marketing channels
Balancing SEO & SEM strategies when executing paid marketing campaigns
Using tools to identify product assortment opportunities based on what customers are searching for
Driving a feedback loop for shared learning between the marketing team, other retail department teams, and the Digital Intelligence team
Advising the rest of your team on the guidelines, best practices, and requirements for Product Listing Ads (PLAs)
Providing pricing recommendations to planners and buyers based on data
Coordinating with the Email Marketing team to align with the corporate email calendar
Job Requirements
What you’ll need to succeed:

University degree or equivalent in business or a related field
2+ years of experience in eCommerce digital marketing or a similar field
2+ years of experience with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
2+ years of experience completing data-driven analyses that delivered value and generated revenue within a large eCommerce organization
Experience working with at least one of the following: Google Data Center, Google Trends, or Google Merchant Center
Expert understanding of Google AdWords and/or Product Listing Ads (campaign design and performance analysis)
Fundamental business understanding of factors that contribute to pricing decisions
Highly collaborative mindset that allows you to build trust and accountability
Natural curiosity to explore and entertain fresh ideas and feedback
Ability to embrace change with positivity and enthusiasm

Bonus points:

Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented Agile environment
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
