Digital Marketing Strategist
We’re currently seeking a motivated individual to become our Digital Marketing Strategist, who will drive the digital marketing efforts for Boréalis and manage our online B2B marketing operations. You’ll be responsible for web optimization, marketing automation, PPC and any paid search activities. You’ll use analytics to drive engagement and conversion, and you’ll be our subject matter expert for digital strategies, always working to optimize demand generation, lead nurturing, and conversion through digital media campaigns, email campaigns and landing page tests.
Own digital marketing best practices and standards, including reporting, measurement and ROI for digital campaigns.
Partner with our creative content team to develop specific digital strategies and identify requirements for all creative assignments, including: email, banner ads, landing pages, and website development.
Manage all digital campaigns, including search engine marketing (Google Adwords and onsite search), online brochures & collateral and other revenue-generating promotional campaigns.
Translate business goals into digital marketing objectives, creating and communicating marketing targets / briefs.
Evaluate customer segments and create customer segmentation groups for focused targeted marketing based on customer profiling (personas).
Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and analytics to senior level management, and guide program optimization.
Monitor and suggest improvements for the usability, content and conversion points of our website to support our growth objectives.
Understand and deploy current best practices in integrated digital campaigns as well as learn about and optimize with emerging technology.
Gather and share competitive insights related to marketing strategies by targeted competitors and recommend marketing strategies to stand out from competitor marketing moves based on learned trends and insights.
Manage online marketing operations by seeking out emerging technologies that enable our small team to accomplish big goals.
Act as a liaison between sales and marketing regarding incoming web leads.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a digital marketing or advertising agency environment.
Experience working in high-tech business sector.
Experience implementing digital marketing strategies in B2B sales environment.
Website development experience preferred.
Proven competency with social media, email marketing strategy, website strategy development, and web analytics.
Google Analytics Certifications and Google Adwords
Experience with various marketing automation solutions required: MailChimp, SEMRush, Instapage and other tools
Proven grasp of all paid search mediums including remarketing, display & content, mobile, video.
Experience creating and developing digital marketing best practices within an organization.
Graphic design skills (an asset).
Must be completely bilingual in French and English
Capable of taking high-level vision and translating it to executable actions

Ability to prioritize and balance competing requests
Ability to work independently once strategy and direction are clear, while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged
