The Communications Branch of the Public Service Commission (PSC) is seeking an energetic, flexible, highly-organized and creative communications professional. You will work independently and as part of a communications team to manage the PSC’s digital platforms and provide multimedia communications services to achieve government’s goals and objectives.
As a Digital Communications Consultant, you will:
support the design, development and implementation of communication strategies for key issues, programs and initiatives with a focus on internal communications for the Public Service Commission and the Government of Saskatchewan;
manage digital assets, for both the PSC and corporately, as well as develop and manage web content and governance standards, using a client-centered approach;
clearly and concisely compose and edit a variety of documents, including articles, web content and other communications materials; and
establish relationships and liaise with content owners and various stakeholders.
To qualify for this position, you will have knowledge of:
communications theories and principles;
basic graphic design theories and principles;
web writing and analytics, and SharePoint; and
communication techniques, methods, mediums, equipment and software.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, English or a related field of study, combined with several years of communications experience.
