Job Description

VERB is looking for a Digital Analyst to join our integrated marketing and technology team.

As a Digital Analyst, you will create and tell comprehensive stories about how users behave using data. You’ll deliver analytics projects of moderate complexity, partnering with other analysts and cross-disciplinary teams along the way. Through ongoing analysis, you will gain actionable insights that better address the business goals of our clients.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze and interpret data, providing insights to inform website and campaign strategies
  • Manage tracking and reporting across ongoing digital marketing campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook, DCM, etc.)
  • Create detailed dashboards to deliver standardized reporting for site and campaign performance according to business objectives and KPIs
  • Consult with clients and internal project teams on projects requiring web analytics platform selection, implementation and/or existing platform remediation, and provide recommendations
  • Establishing and define benchmarks and projections for digital marketing tactics
  • Serve as subject matter expert on web analytics implementations for multiple clients
  • Data visualization and storytelling expertise
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior and intermediate staff
Job Requirements
A minimum of three years' experience in web analytics with demonstrable experience in data visualization and storytelling
Post-secondary education in marketing, business, computer science, math or statistics
Demonstrated experience using Google Tag Manager
Reporting and segmentation experience within Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, graphs, etc.)
Ability to understand business objectives and implement measurement strategies to track performance
Strong problem-solving skills and a broad knowledge of web development techniques and principles
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a passion for digging into data to identify trends, communicate results and propose solutions
General understanding of digital marketing channels, trends, email marketing, social media, Paid Media/Google Ads and SEO principles
