Job Description

OneSpan is looking for a B2B Content Writer to join our team in Montréal. We are looking for a B2B Content Writer to create compelling content for the OneSpan website. This a contract position. The writer will write, test and optimize web content based on our core KPIs.

The ideal candidate is an excellent B2B web writer and has experience with on-page SEO strategies. If you are keen to learn, we’re interested in talking to you. At OneSpan, we believe web writing should engage readers, use natural language, and show that we understand our visitors’ intent by helping them get the information they need, quickly and easily. At the same time, our products and solutions are technical and range from digital identity verification with facial biometrics to AI-driven fraud prevention. So it is essential that the Content Writer have experience writing about technology or other complex topics – and how it solves business problems.

Reporting to the Directors of Content Development and Digital Marketing, this is a work-from-home role based on a 40-hour week. The writer must be available during standard Eastern Time business hours.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in B2B writing – including developing concepts and writing clear and SEO optimized copy
Experience writing in a B2B environment, preferably for tech or SaaS company websites
Knowledge of the financial sector considered an asset
Able to accept and combine feedback and iterate content as required
Solid overall digital and analytical skills with a passion for SEO best practices
Experience with tools such as SEMRush, Moz, Google natural language API, or Clearscope would be an advantage
Fast learner; able to understand new technologies quickly and convey their value propositions
Deadline driven, with a track record of getting projects to the finish line on time
Familiar with Drupal, WordPress, or other CMS programs
B.A. in English, Journalism, or related communications field preferred but not mandatory
