Who we are

Bananatag is an internal communication platform that allows employees to create a beautifully designed message, segment, and distribute that message to multiple communication channels such as E-mail, Slack, Enterprise Social Networks and then measure the overall impact of the messaging. Our customers include some of the most recognizable brands in the world.

What you will be doing
  • Working with our Content Manager and Product Marketing team to write and edit high-quality content and copy for our blog, resources, webinars, downloads, videos, templates, landing pages, guest posts, website, newsletters, and emails
  • Researching industry-related topics
  • Developing content topic outlines and themes with our Content Manager
  • Collaborating with the marketing team on new projects and content strategy
  • Conducting simple keyword research and using SEO best practices
  • Identifying gaps in our content and recommending new topics
  • Following our voice and tone guidelines
  • Formatting and uploading blog posts to Hubspot
  • Developing personal timelines and collaborating with Content Manager for estimates and content schedule
  • Optimizing our existing blog posts (fixing broken links, combining posts, SEO checks, etc.)
Job Requirements
Skills needed:

Post-secondary education with 2+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or another relevant discipline
Excellent grammar and spelling with strong writing/storytelling skills
Excellent (English) communication skills
Ability to distill complex ideas with clear and simple language
Strong topic research skills
Basic understanding of good marketing principles
Comfortable working and thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
Basic understanding of SEO
Strong working knowledge of Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, Drive etc.)
Very comfortable in a digital workspace and using/troubleshooting software
Knowledge of CMS, specifically Hubspot is an asset
Experience in B2B content marketing is an asset
