We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a contract opportunity as a Brand, Marketing and Communications Coordinator with our National Private Client Services group, beginning 01 May 2019 and ending 01 October 2020.
Your key responsibilities
This team member will cover several areas of marketing, communications and business development including:
Brand, Marketing and Communication:
Support and execute on local and national advertising campaigns
Assist in developing internal and external communications
Develop and execute the social media strategy for LinkedIn and Twitter
Support, organize and execute webcasts and events nationally with clients and referral sources
Assist with writing byline articles, LinkedIn articles and supporting media requests
Support the development of private company thought leadership and content for the practice
Help update and maintain the Private Client Services website, as needed
Presentation support and creation
Other duties as assigned
Market Research and Specialty Projects:
Conduct, write and summarize market research to support sales and marketing efforts including: prospective target companies and executives, industries, market trends, etc.
Monitor and analyze the impact of business and financial news on clients
Participate in planning and strategy meetings
Assemble and organize industry research reports
Identify and research targeted companies
Skills and attributes for success
The individual in this role must have strong research and writing ability in addition to strong organizational skills.
To qualify for the role you must have
A completed Bachelor’s degree or post secondary diploma in marketing or other related field
A minimum of 1-2 years experience as marketing support staff, business development coordinator, marketing coordinator, and/or any other position relevant to this role
Strong organizational skills and a very high attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, oral and presentation skills
Understanding and synthesizing diverse and disparate concepts, and oral and written information to produce clear and logical written material
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proactive and anticipatory in approach and style
Self confident and assured (comfortable 'pushing back' when appropriate and necessary)
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
Ability to work with all levels of management - and use discretion and adapt style and approach accordingly
Analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
Can effectively interact with others to obtain required actions
Strong team player - with ability work independently and autonomously with little direction and guidance
Highly-developed computer skills, including Microsoft suite and Internet-based research
Ability to meet tight deadlines and coordinate multiple projects at one time
