Manulife Securities is seeking a Bilingual Digital Marketing Specialist (French and English) who has a passion for helping advisors market their business online. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining and delivering our market-leading Digital Advisor Program that includes website and social media platforms. Supporting compliance guidelines, program marketing and administrative responsibilities, your attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines and helpful communication style will assist advisors in taking advantage of digital marketing techniques and best practices to help build their business. Reporting to the Director, Publications and Digital Programs, your primary responsibilities include facilitating the day-to-day activities and support that lead to advisors’ positive experience of the Digital Advisor Program.



Key accountabilities include:

Work with the Manager, Digital Programs and other team members to help promote the Digital Advisor Program and drive day-to-day tasks including supporting advisors
Present the value of the program to sales teams and advisors via virtual or in-person presentations (in person presentation skills in French is a must)
Support the development of advisors’ online marketing efforts in line with the objectives and direction of the program
Help support compliance reviews for advisor profiles, websites, and social networks
Partner with the Compliance Team to understand and support program requirements and facilitate timely responses to advisors’ submissions
Work with technology providers to help deliver process efficiencies
Help manage content libraries including populating and organizing suitable content
Create program resources including tip sheets, best practice references, guidebooks and marketing materials
Handle program billing, reporting and advisor records
Partner with various resources within the team to ensure that standard reporting, KPIs and performance measurement of campaigns, reports, and dashboards are delivered on time to meet the needs of internal stakeholders
Create email communications for advisors and maintain distribution lists
Support French translation of program communications, newsletters and marketing pieces
Research on a regular basis to learn and stay current on social media and digital platform opportunities
Maintain the Digital Advisor Program’s social media and marketing platforms
As part of the Publications and Digital Team, collaborate with colleagues to source content, topic ideas and identify content integration opportunities
Understanding of social media and web analytics with the ability to analyze, present and share the findings
Job Requirements
3 to 4 years of experience in a digital marketing role with a focus on digital marketing, preferably in financial services
Strong working knowledge in social media platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook for business purposes
Working understanding of website development and capabilities
Ability to understand compliance requirements and apply them to advisor’s digital marketing needs
Demonstrated high level of collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages with emphasis on technical jargon to plain
Proven ability to communicate and support high profile clients with skill in conflict resolution (French and English)
Energetic self-starter with ability to adapt to changing priorities and follow directions
Ability to maintain focus through independent work, or in a team environment
Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism and/or relevant work experience
Creative digital design and marketing is an asset
