Summary:

As Associate Producer you will be expected to support the video production team in the planning, execution and delivery of video assets for internal and external purposes for Info-Tech. This will be achieved by assisting the Senior Producer and Videographer/Editor on video shoots, setting up video equipment and lights, editing video footage, and performing tasks such as teleprompting, closed captioning QA, and script revisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the video team in the planning and execution of shoots, including booking rooms/locations and guests and setting up appropriate video equipment.
  • Edit raw video that aligns with internal production standards and formats to elevate Info-Tech’s video presence online.
  • Support videography and photography projects in being fully adept at best practices with techniques and hands-on knowledge of equipment.
  • Work with on-camera guests to put them at ease during shoots and offering support where needed with wardrobe, makeup, and scripting.
  • Create video assets including title cards and logo animations.
  • Perform key support functions that follow internal production protocols to ensure compliance with various requirements.
  • Work in an interdisciplinary team that includes designers, developers, marketers and researchers.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience:

College or university training with minimum of 0-2 years hands-on experience in video production and video/audio editing
Experience with video shoots, including composition, camera settings and setting up lighting equipment would be an asset, but training will be provided
Basic knowledge of audio recording techniques and motion graphics
Proven ability to work cross-team and incorporate feedback from creative stakeholders.
Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver error-free content while managing workloads effectively
Skills:

Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop and Illustrator in a Mac environment
Still photography skills considered a strong asset
Drawing/illustration skills considered an asset
Copywriting experience and having an ear for a company “voice” is an asset
Strong attention to visual and audio details
Ability to lift and move specialized equipment which can be heavy or oversized
Ability to work with minimal supervision at times
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
