Under the leadership of the Marketing Manager, Banking and part of an evolving customer centric organization, you’ll join one of Manulife Canada’s fastest growing businesses – Manulife Bank.


As the Associate Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning and implementing multi-tactic, integrated marketing programs to drive awareness and acquisition for day-to-day banking and lending products.



Key Accountabilities

Insight Activation
In collaboration with Marketing Manager work closely with Research & Insights team to enhance understanding of customer perceptions, preferences and behaviours
Monitor & maintain a good understanding of competitive activity in the banking industry
Brand Strategy and Activation
Support Marketing Manager in working with Canadian Division Marketing to activate the Manulife brand mission across all touch points in the customer journey
Drive brand consistency and governance working with Canadian Division Marketing
Marketing Planning & Activation
Support Marketing Manager and assist them in the planning and development of Marketing plans
Work collaboratively with cross functional and agency partners to develop & implement multi-media, fully integrated 360 marketing programs in support of business objectives and across channels
Ensure that projects are managed through effective project management and delivered with high quality, on time, and on budget.
Build an effective network of internal and external partners and maintain effective relationships with external suppliers.
Manage a diverse workload and sometimes demanding and / or competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Measurement & Budgeting
Support Marketing Manager in working with business teams to ensure clear understanding of financial targets and build into Marketing planning process
Work alongside Marketing Manager with Digital Analytics and Research & Insight teams to measure campaign effectiveness, while optimizing through real time Marketing approach
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Attributes
3-5 years work experience in Marketing, successfully developing and implementing effective marketing solutions to meet business needs
Strong organizational and project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects within tight timelines
Energetic, creative, solutions-oriented, team player, who thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and maintain professionalism
Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite (including SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Financial services industry knowledge is an asset, but not a requirement
University Degree: Business, Marketing, or Communication is preferred
