Advertising Manager is responsible for strategy, planning, measurement and reporting for all advertising, trade marketing and POS activities across all channels. Responsibilities include development, implementation and evaluation of key messaging, communication strategies and programs, campaign management, agency relations, media buying, budget planning, generating reports, assisting in market research studies briefs and analyzing their findings, and partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to make sure marketing projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive advertising strategies to increase awareness, consideration and drive customer acquisition.
  • Plan and coordinate all advertising, trade marketing and POS activities with internal and external agency partners, including media buying, campaign strategy and execution, budgeting and reporting.
  • Develop marketing materials from start to finish including Agile (in-house system) approval.
  • Assist in market research briefs and analyse their findings and implement recommendations.
  • Monitor competitive advertising and report findings.
  • Prepare reports that measure and quantify the effectiveness of advertising and CRM campaigns.
  • Track and reconcile budget, process invoices and archive files.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience managing full funnel advertising campaigns and/or trade marketing and POS campaigns
Experience using all digital marketing tools and platforms (strategy, social, SEO, SEM, programmatic, reporting, GA)
Experience with media buying for all platforms (TV, digital, print, radio)
General knowledge of research tools and concepts
Ability to understand complex medical content/studies and adapt for different audiences
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to shift gears quickly and wear multiple hats
Ability to establish & track KPIs and goals for campaigns and programs
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate within the team and cross functionally
Strong prioritizing, organizing, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent English writing and communication skills
Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Perform other projects and duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using marketing automation tools
Experience in retail marketing
Knowledge of diabetes
Vendor & agency management experience

Experience and Education Requirements:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience. At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.

Travel Required:

Up to 25%
