Job Description
The Account Manager will deliver Business Value to AlphaKOR’s client’s by showcasing specific, measurable, actionable, relevant, and timely (SMART) IT Service Management strategies to them. As the Account Manager, you will be the bridge between the client’s business and AlphaKOR’s IT services. You will have a deep understanding of the client’s business, their key stakeholders, and their market. Understanding the client’s ambitions, you will position IT as a tool to help them in the overall success of their business.
Job Requirements
* Assess IT culture within the client’s business and advocate the greater role of IT within it through frequent client meetings
* Advocate against any perception that IT is only required in ‘break/fix’ situations
* Create, document, maintain, track, and refresh infrastructure roadmap for clients
* Incorporate new development opportunities into client infrastructure roadmap
* Budget and forecast overall IT spend with client
* Increase percentage of all client information systems monitored and maintained by AlphaKOR
* Identify client’s mission critical systems/applications and create strategy to maximize uptime
* Develop and track annual IT maintenance schedule for clients including systems for which downtime is required
* Create, document, maintain, track, and refresh infrastructure retirement plan for client
* Document average number of information security incidents for clients and develop strategy to reduce those incidents by X percentage annually
* Understand client’s security requirements based on standards relevant to them (HIPAA, PIPEDA, C-SOX, etc) and communicate these to the client
* Conduct Cyber-Security Awareness seminars for client’s staff
* Develop, document, and test Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity plans for clients based on mission critical systems, recovery-time objectives, and the financial impact of a disaster level event to the client’s business
* Monitor client’s service desk metrics and analyze trends that may impact the client
* Understand and communicate technology trends within the client’s market
* Leverage external vendors to assist with recommendations for client
* Document and maintain client constellation maps and magic quadrants decision makers and their varying degrees of influence within the client’s organization
* Participate in routine sales and marketing meetings with updates on client activity based on requirements above

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree or similar experience or a combination of education and experience
* Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a services firm
* Working knowledge of CRMs & ERPs
* Strong familiarity working with organizations in various industries
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technology in a manner that simplifies it so anyone can understand
