By using the services of MediaCareers.ca you agree that any information you provide to us is true, accurate, current and complete.
 
By registering as a member (Employer/Recruiter or JobSeeker) with Mediacareers.ca you agree that we may send you email notifications concerning relevant media industry news, website updates/news, special discounts, contests and advertisements.
 
MediaCareers.ca reserves the right to remove and reject any job ads, profiles or resumes that does not meet our expectations or approval.
 
Employers/Recruiters: Your PayPal payment(s) must be fully processed before your job ad is posted live on our website.
 
All of MediaCareers.ca job pack prices are subject to change at our own discretion and at any time. There may be occasional downtime for website maintenance and updates.
 
All images (e.g. company logos and job applicant photos) submitted to us must be in JPG, GIF or PNG format. Animated images will not be accepted. If we deem that the images uploaded to our website is unacceptable or offensive in anyway, it will be removed by us.
 
MediaCareers.ca is under no obligation (legal or otherwise) to become involved in the type of job seekers or recruiters / employers you exchange information with, or who you ultimately decide to do business with when using our services.
 
MediaCareers.ca and MediaCareersCanada.com are our exclusive domain names and cannot be used in any way, whole or in part, without our express written consent.
 
Your Membership on MediaCareers.ca is NOT for commercial or business use.
 
All payments made to purchase a Job Pack (s) are non-refundable.
 
Your membership with us is non-transferable : You agree to log off MediaCareers.ca properly at the end of each session. If you fail to do so you are responsible for any loss or damages arising from anyone else using your session, username, email, and/or password.
 
You acknowledge and agree that if you (Employers/Recruiters/Job Seekers) join our website as a registered user, your account must be active. If your account has been inactive (eg: no job postings or no posted resumes) we may delete your account from our database at our own discretion.
 
You may terminate/delete your account anytime by sending us an email request at: info@mediacareers.ca .
 
You acknowledge and agree that MediaCareers.ca may at any time terminate your membership without notice if we suspect that you are using your account for illegal or inappropriate reasons.
 
MediaCareers.ca reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue any or all of its services at anytime.
 
Jurisdiction:
 
The Terms and Conditions will abide by the laws of the provincial and federal governments. You and MediaCareers.ca agree that any and all disputes arising out of or related to the Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of Ontario, Canada and/or federal courts located in Ontario, or as otherwise agreed to by MediaCareers.ca .
 
Indemnity- You agree to indemnify and hold us, and our attorneys or other partners, and any of our employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, transmit or make available to us.
 
Limitation Of Liability - You expressly understand and agree that we shall not be liable for any DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM:
 
(i) THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
 
(ii) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS AND SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION OR SERVICES PURCHASED OR OBTAINED OR MESSAGES RECEIVED OR TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO THROUGH OR FROM THE SERVICE.
 
(iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA. (iv) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE.
 
(v) ACT OF WAR, TERRORIST ATTACK, THE INABILITY TO USE THIS SITE RESULTING FROM HACKER ACTIVITY (INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO WEBSITE HIJACKING, VIRUSES, TROJAN HORSES, WORMS, TIME BOMBS, CANCEL-BOTS, OR OTHER DISABLING DEVICES THAT ARE INTENDED TO DAMAGE OR INTERFERE WITH ANY DATA OR PERSONAL INFORMATION) AND AN ACT OF GOD.
 
(vi) THE INABILITY TO ACCESS OUR WEBSITE TO contact us AND/OR MAKE PAYMENTS RESULTING FROM WEB HOSTING SERVICE MALFUNCTIONS (YOURS OR OURS) AND DISRUPTIONS FROM PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ELECTRICAL UTILITIES.
