The Digital Brand Experience Manager owns the consumer journey online both web and in App experiences. Taking cues from our global product campaigns, they are the architect of the experience the consumer feels for each of the major brand stories we bring to life online and in our Apps. They will pull together all the components of a great online experience (product, visual storytelling and salesmanship) and deliver a executable program that delivers strong sales results. Combining excellent communication and people skills with a flair for creativity, style and visual merchandising, the Brand Experience Manager is a key influencer in our business.
Key Accountabilities (List the 5-10 major areas of responsibility for role):
Direct, oversee and manage the Merchandising Coordinators for Adidas and Reebok,
Develop and implement a quarterly Product Merchandising plan by following the Product Launch Calendar
Report and analyze Sell Through data and report on product analytics back the Buying and Product teams for adidas and reebok.
Work closely with retail to align on marketing and merchandising initiatives and tactics.
Content Management, setup and merchandise product content, images and category allocation.
Merchandising systems knowledge, SAP, PIM and other proprietary tools used to manage product data.
Identify and product scope opportunities through the evaluation of web, merchant and financial metrics, competitive analysis, market trends and usability studies.
Closely monitor online trends and behaviors using online analytic platform like Omniture.
Drive and support product pricing and merchandising for weekly sales and promotional activities as outlines in the marketing roadmap.
Provide effective recommendation to the e-commerce and
retail leadership for product expansion and buying opportunities.
Research and understand the current position of the business, current consumer perceptions of the store – and on-line shopping in general
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
5 - 8 years with Internet marketing, merchandising and/or ecommerce experience
Expert level understanding of go to market strategy and the effective use of merchandising and marketing tools.
Analytical expertise in evaluating inventory forecasts, projected sales and range planning
Experience with online advertising (creative and media development), and overall Internet project management, planning, development and processes.
Knowledge of on-line metric tools and experience in creating and maintaining reporting tools
Strong time management, organization and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical business groups across the company
Analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret conceptual information and quantitative data
Flexibility - able to adapt to changing nature of Internet Marketing and Merchandising
Outstanding computer and technology skills (MS Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat (read/write), Photoshop Internet-specific)
ROI assessment skills critical
Strong understanding of various file formats and digital asset manipulation
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to convey concepts, strategy and plans to varied organizational levels
Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):
College or University degree, BBA preferred
Working knowledge of the apparel and / or sports industry an asset
